My Favorite Sarah Flint Styles
Autumn is finally here, with moody thunderstorms, cool mornings and the feeling of lightness in my heart. It’s the perfect season to focus on things a little closer to home, and to sort out your cold weather wardrobe. I’m here to help!
The first thing to focus on with cold weather looks is warmth - whether you are slipping into yoga pants for a coffee with your bestie, jeans for a day on the lake, or a tea-length dress for a dinner with your man, I have the look for you!
Ankle booties are the style for the season! Style them with:
- Yoga pants + a sweater for a cozy, lived-in look.
- Jeans + a waterproof jacket for time on the lake
- A tea-length dress for date night
The second thing to think about is how polished the look feels when you look in the mirror or take a photo - no frumpiness here! My favorite for a effortlessly polished look is a pair of pointed ballet flats.
Ballet flats are perfect to style with:
- A long, flowy dress to be the picture of sophistication
- Business attire as you move with ease from meeting to meeting
- A dress with a hemline that just touches the top of the knee for a weekend feel
The last essential for your cold weather wardrobe is a pair of delightful party shoes. My go-to is always a stiletto heel, and you cannot go wrong with a middle-of-the-road 85mm (3.3 in) heel height.
Perfect Pumps are ideal for:
- Dinner parties
- Weddings
- Galas
Pair the stiletto heel with a long gown that allows the toe of the shoe to just peep out for a glamorous look and feel. You’ll be the best-dressed woman in the room!
