I enjoy blogging my recipes, travels, continuing love story, stories of God’s goodness, style, home decor and other adventures. May you be encouraged and inspired to live beautifully and travel often.

“All I know is, everything has changed.”

Everything.

Strolling through the extensive grounds of the non-profit where Daniel and I met, we came face-to-face with a flood of memories.

”That’s where I stood and here’s where you stood when my heart skipped and I knew I was in love with you.”

“Where we first laid eyes on each other....”

“Where you asked for ‘my story’.”

“When I knew you were ‘The One’.”

“When you went away for training, and it felt like eternity, a painful eternity.”

It was quite amazing to realize all the milestones in our relationship that had been reached on the campus, yet how little action was taken.

I, Amy, never revealed my feelings, but kept them tight under lock-and-key.

Daniel was equally mysterious, to the point that trying to communicate his commitment, love, and affection missed the mark and left me yet in the dark.

And somehow, our souls were tied together, our hearts united, and our feelings for one another “on the same page.”

Strolling through the grounds now, 6 years and 10 months later, together.

In every romantic, friendly, spiritual, possible manner - together. Knitted tightly into “one being”, deeply in love, tearful over the magnitude of all the “small things” that fell into place and brought us to this day.

Cheers to eternal love!
